Organize media permissions
Before sharing or publishing project assets, identify who supplied each file and what permission covers its intended use. A publicly available image, song or video is not automatically licensed for your project.
Track the source
Keep a record of who made each photograph, video, graphic, and audio track. Save license or permission records with the project.
Describe the intended use
Tell the studio where the work will be published, including paid promotion and commercial use. Check that permissions cover those uses.
Resolve questions early
Confirm credits and any participant or location permissions before release. For legal advice about a specific project, consult a qualified professional.
